The Key of David

The kingdom of David is a timeless symbol of a kingdom manifest in its full glory. This kingdom now belongs to Christ. He is the one who ‘has the key of David’. Rev 3:7. What is this key? This is the same key that opens the narrow door of which Jesus spoke. There are many lessons to be learned about the ‘key of David’. Christians need to discover this key so that they gain an effective ‘entrance’ to victorious life, and then open the way for others’. 2 Peter 1:11.
